Although this card is not the cheapest available, it is still a great value. Since the card is universal, it can be used for male and female recipients. It's simple design is classic and the gold lined envelope adds a touch that says "hey, this person spent some money on this, they must care". The card is textured but it does not make it difficult to write. It is also on the smaller side but I don't think writing lengthy messages are necessarily effective.

Definitely follow the designer's recommendations when it comes to the paper. The paper is a high quality texture, and the writing elegant; if you want to save money on a custom message inside the card, use gold ink instead of gold foil. I would definitely recommend this card for business or personal birthdays. I love the customization options for the cards. And the cards were delivered so quickly!
